If you are a reasonably fit, experienced telemark skier and you're looking for an off-piste telemark skiing adventure, then the Tele Adventure course is for you.

Not Just about the Powder

The Tele Adventure focus is getting out into the backcountry and finding the best off-piste snow and terrain the Espace Killy has to offer. It's not just about telemarking the powder, we'll build solid skills to help you telemark all-terrain and snow conditions that you'll encounter off-piste. That said, if there's fresh powder then we'll be in it. That's where the local knowledge comes in.

Explore the Huge Variety of Backcountry Telemark Terrain

Come and experience the huge variety of off piste terrain for which Val d’Isere and Tignes are rightly world famous for. It simply has it all, from tree skiing in Fornet and La Daille, steep couloirs on Belvarde and Solaise and the open bowls of Chardonnet and Cugnai to name but a few.

Get Some Local Knowledge

Unlike other operators, we are on the hill every day, so we know the terrain and the snowpack's history, we know where it is safe to telemark each day. If it's tracked out, we know the secret spots to find the best snow. When off-piste, we carry and supply our guests with avalanche safety equipment.

We use video feedback to not only capture the action but also help you improve your skiing.

The Finer Details

• Tele Adventure Courses run from Monday to Friday.
• Tele Tracks telemark courses have a maximum group size of 6 people.
• All sessions are for a half day starting at either 9am or 1pm.
• Half day lessons allow time for practice or to rest for the following days telemarking.
• Tele Tracks courses can be booked as a complete package or just instruction / NTN Test only.

Technical Level

To join a Tele Adventure group lesson you:

• can make single-phased lead changes on red runs.
• actively look for variable snow and challenging terrain.
• strong alpine skier on black runs and comfortable in most off-piste conditions.
• have fundamental all-mountain skills - sideslip, snowplough, heringbone and sidesteps.
• enjoy a challenge

Fitness Level

We adapt our coaching to different fitness levels, however for Tele Adventure group lessons you:

• can telemark ski hard for 3 hours.
• are fit and active.
• have good core strength
• can alpine ski for a full day.
